Ms. Vukson

Ms. Vukson began teaching at Humboldt in 2013. She earned her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2009. Ms. Vukson earned her Master’s of English Education at SUNY-Buffalo in 2012. Lastly, she earned her Reading Certificate from St. Mary’s University in 2016. 

Ms. Vukson lives in the suburbs of the Twin Cities. She lives with her significant other and her three cats.  Ms. Vukson has traveled to several countries, including Greece and Cambodia. She also enjoys gardening, walking, and listening to podcasts. 

Her favorite  books include:

  • “You’re Welcome Universe” by Whitney Gardner 
  • “American Street” by Ibi Zoboi 
  • “But for Birmingham” by Glenn Eskew

Ms. Vukson enjoys teaching at Humboldt. The staff and students always challenge her in new ways. Her favorite thing about Humboldt is seeing the kids grow throughout their years at Humboldt, which is a 6-12 school.
