Ms. Omer
Ms. Omer began teaching at Humboldt in 2008. She earned her bachelor's degree in Journalism & Communication from Yarmouk University - Kingdom of Jordan 2021. Ms. Omer earned her Master’s of Deaf Education at the University of Minnesota in 2005. She has spent her career at Humboldt teaching.
When Ms. Omer is not teaching, she is traveling, reading, or writing. Ms. Omer has enjoyed trips to Jordan, Morocco, Egypt, Syria, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Italy.
Ms. Omer enjoys teaching at Humboldt and being part of the Deaf community. She communicates fluently in English, American Sign language, and Arabic. She is interested in Cued Speech (both English and Arabic).
