Ms. Carrie

Hi! I am Ms. Carrie, the speech and language pathologist for grades 9-12 and our Autism, Cognitive Disabilites, and DHH+ classrooms. I graduated from UW-Milwaukee with my graduate degree in speech pathology in 2014. I began working for Saint Paul Public Schools in 2014 and started at Humboldt High School in 2020. I truly believe that every student deserves a voice and that words matter.  My goal is to support students and their families through their individualized education plan (IEP) to help them find, grow and use their unique and beautiful voices. I have experience working with a variety of communication disorders including: articulation disorders, language disorders, fluency (stuttering/cluttering) disorders, and voice disorders. I also have experience implementing, programing and using augmented and assistive communication(AAC) devices.  In my free time, I enjoy cooking, singing, traveling, and being with family and friends. Please reach out to me if you have any concerns about your student's speech or language skills!
