Graduation Information for Students
Graduation Rehearsal
- Date/Time: Monday, June 2 at 11AM at The O'Shaughnessy Auditorium
- Graduation rehearsal is mandatory. You must attend rehearsal and be on time to participate in the graduation ceremony.
- You must provide your own transportation. DIRECTIONS HERE
- You do not wear cap & gown to the rehearsal
Graduation Ceremony
- Graduation will be on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 5:30 PM at The O'Shaughnessy Auditorium.
- All graduates must arrive by 5:00 PM.
- This is a ticketed event. Each person attending MUST have a ticket.
- Each student will receive 10 tickets to graduation.
- The doors to The O'Shaughnessy will open 60 minutes prior to the start of graduation.
- The doors to the theater your graduation takes place in will open no less than 30 minutese prior to the start of graduation.
- Please arrive on time to ensure you are seated by the event's start time -- Doors will close 45 minutes after the start of graduation.
- There will be no re-entry to the building. Once someone leaves, they may not return.
- No signs, balloons, confetti, or noisemakers are permitted inside The O'Shaughnessy.
- No outside food or beverage is allowed inside The O'Shaughnessy.
- Please be respectful of your classmates, the venue, and Humboldt High School.
Graduation Attire
Caps and gowns will be distributed on the last day of school: Friday, May 30th at Humboldt.
Do not add any decorations to the cap or gown. SPPS does not allow decorations, and your cap will be confiscated prior to the ceremony if they have been decorated.
Identity Adornments: If the graduating senior would like to wear an adornment which reflects their identity, they may do so. All adornments must be approved ahead of graduation by Brit Loftus or Jennifer Farrell.
Tickets and Ceremony
This is a ticketed event. Each person attending MUST have a ticket. When you receive your cap and gown, each graduate will receive ten(10) tickets for the ceremony. These tickets will be collected at the doors at the graduation ceremony. There is no official process for collecting and redistributing unneeded tickets.
Filming from the audience is allowed, but phones must be silenced at all times.

Parking
There may be heavy traffic due to rush hour, and parking may be limited. Please leave early to ensure that you have adequate time to park and arrive for graduation.
