Johnson and Humboldt High School students attended Top Golf in Brooklyn Center together as part of a Unified event sponsored by Special Olympics Minnesota. Unified classes are a unique opportunity for students with and without disabilities to come together on equal terms through fitness, sports, leadership and wellness activities. Engaging in physical activities alongside peers with and without disabilities helps to foster important social relationships and acceptance within the greater community.
