Flipside's Impact On Schools
Flipside Afterschool

Flipside combines learning and fun during out-of-school times!
Flipside is an out-of-school-time program for Middle School age youth, that is intentionally designed to have a positive impact on student achievement, skill and social development. Flipside is partially funded with grants from the Minnesota Department of Education, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Ramsey County Public Health. These grants allow us to provide high quality programming for very low or no cost to students and families in order to eliminate financial barriers that can limit access and participation. Flipside provides a variety of academic, enrichment and physical activities that support the social, emotional, physical and academic development of middle school age youth afterschool, summer and non-school days throughout the year.

Program Coordinator
Site Leader
My name is Ms. Sharon. I'm the coordinator at Humboldt/OWL schools. I really enjoy working with students in the afterschool program. The afterschool program provides services to students in grades 6-8. Before becoming a coordinator, I worked in mental health as a case manager. I enjoy watching students develop from the beginning of program to the end of program. I really look forward to working every year with our students.
