English Language Learners (ELL)

Welcome English Language Learners and parents! At Humboldt we have students that come to us from all over the world. We have students that speak Spanish, Hmong, Karen, Burmese, Japanese, Oromo, Ahmaric, and more. We teach English through content and give English language learners support in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. There are seven ELL teachers at Humboldt for all levels of English.

Here at Humboldt High School, eligible students can take Language Academy courses at levels 1, 1.5 and 2.
