Family Friendly School Continuous Improvement Plan (SCIP) Summary

Saint Paul Public Schools is dedicated to continuous improvement. A key component of this effort is our School Comprehensive Improvement Plan (SCIP), which outlines our goals and strategies for the year. Here’s a summary of our SCIP.

School Climate Survey

  • 85% of all students will participate in the Student Climate Survey in the Fall 2024 and in Spring 2025
  • All student groups will score an overall average score of ‘3’ or above 
 

Attendance Goals

At least 85% of all students will consistently attend school as measured by Consistent Attendance Report in BOLT by June 2025
 

Literacy Goals

The percentage of 6-8 and 10th Grade students scoring proficient or higher in reading will increase by at least 5% pts as measured by the MCA III Reading Assessment administered in April 2025.|
 

Math Goal

The percentage of 6-8 and 11th grade students scoring proficient or higher in mathematics will increase by at least 5% pts as measured by the MCA III Mathematics Assessment administered in April 2025.
 

High School

  • At least 90% passing rate will be attained in core courses and Ethnic Studies
  • At least 85% passing rate will be attained by all student groups as measured by Final Marks report in BOLT by June 2025
  • The percentage of all 10-12th grade students participating in advanced coursework will increase by 10% as measured by Advanced Courses Report in BOLT by Spring 2025
  • 100% of 9th grade students will complete all required personal learning plans tasks as monitored quarterly and measured in Xello by Spring 2025
