HELLO and welcome to pre-AP Biology.  This is a challenging, fast-paced class designed to prepare students for future AP and college courses.  If students were in a St. Paul Public School last year, they should have taken Physical Science, Challenge Science, or an equivalent science course and passed with an A or B.  Students are expected to do 20 - 30 minutes of homework every night.  In addition to "traditional" school assignments, students will type formal lab reports.  Throughout the year we will cover the following topics: biochemistry, cell physiology, cellular transport, energy flow, cellular division, protein synthesis, genetics, nervous system, ecology, evolution, and immunology.
