B. applying specific critical criteria to interpret and analyze the selected art works;
C. describing how particular effects are produced by the artist's use of the elements of the art form; and
D. communicating an informed interpretation, using the vocabulary of the art form.

Students enrolled in this course will use digital cameras and scanners and other modern computer equipment and software to create original art for use in publications, video productions, World Wide Web projects, and multimedia development. Emphasis will be on the commercial aspects of art and, more specifically, electronic artwork. Students will have an opportunity to work with professionals from the field of computer graphics and animation.
