Biology is a laboratory course that studies cells, genetics, evolution,ecology, cycling of matter, flow of energy, organ systems, and thehistory and nature of science. Students investigate various problemsand study current issues through laboratory activities, scientificinquiry and projects and independent work. Students will prepare labreports, study the textbook, and complete assignments on a regularbasis. This course prepares students to be scientifically literate aswell as prepare them for future science courses.
