At Galtier we encourage lifelong learning -- and developing a love of reading is a part of that process.
Our media center/library, located in the heart of the school, houses a collection of 18,000 books available for students' browsing and reading enjoyment.
Sharon Hendrix Hendrix has worked for SPPS for 26 years and brings a wealth of experience in helping our youngest students succeed. She has served our community as a fifth and sixth grade teacher, principal and most recently as elementary administrator at Capitol Hill Gifted and Talented.
I am pleased to share with you that I’ve selected a new leader for Galtier Community School. Please join me in welcoming Sharon Hendrix as your school’s new principal beginning in the 2017-18 school year.
